Science Week #4

This week we will have our first Science Vocabulary quiz. The students will have a total of 10 words each week. The words will not change every week. Some old words will stay in the word bank and others will be taken off each week. I suggest that the students make notecards with the word on one side and the definition on the other. When the study guides are handed out on Monday's, the students will see what cards to keep and what cards to put away. I would suggest keeping all cards for Milestones review at the end of the year.

Definitions for the weekly words are found in class notes on bright colored paper. These definitions are also in the students science books that are kept at school if at any time you want your child to bring home their science book. However, again all definitions are in the students notes in their binder.

Words for this week are coming from their notes on their yellow sheets that we have used for the past three weeks. These words should be familiar to the students.
