Vocabulary

·      Students will be responsible for knowing the meaning of the vocabulary words and how to use them in context for the test on Thursday. More practice with the vocabulary can be found in your child’s reading textbook.

1.    genius- extraordinary intellectual power, especially seen in creative ability

2.    signal- a sound, motion, or other sign that sends a message

3.    electric- powered by electricity, a form of energy caused by the motion of electrons and portons.

4.    laboratory- a place where scientists work and do experiments    

5.    gadget- a small, useful machine or device
